Name a reason Metroid: Other M is a bad game

Nintendo should not have outsourced one of their top series, and especially not to Team Ninja.
Seriously, the people who coined the term "breast-physics"?

They outsourced the game to SNK?

Reason to end all reasons: the bandwagon says the whole thing is bad, so this topic is a moot point.

It makes Samus look weak despite almost 20 years of her being portrayed as a fearless warrior.

Twice now.

Excuse me, what are you babbling about?

Samus was presented as NOTHING in the first game.

After that game's success, her back story was fleshed out. She was always what her creator said she was. Just because you bolted breasts onto an emotionless robot in your mind does not eman that is what she ever was.

Um, was Team Ninja in charge of anything character- or plot-related? Pretty sure they weren't. Outside of the plot and characters, the game Team Ninja made was actually fine and only had a few turds such as pixel hunts and d-pad mashing.

20 years ago was 1994, when Super Metroid was released. What does the 1986 release have to do with what he said?

In addition, SM was the first game that started to characterize Samus. Between it, the Prime Trilogy, the SM comic in Nintendo Power, and Fusion, Samus has been decently characterized as a BA bounty hunter with a personal vendetta but still cares for those around her and innocent creatures, even disregarding her own safety at times. Kinda the opposite of when she let Higgs get sacked.

Team ninja added some nice gameplay mechanics. I think the only problem was the story. Unless you never liked Samus anyways and wanted to make her eat some humble pie.

D-Pad in 3D environment
"the baby" "the baby" "the baby"
Shooting missile -> stuck in place 1st person
Horrible scan sections
Even if you only think of the game's own story it's already convoluted

How many times must it be said that Other M being a disaster was almost entirely Sakamoto's fault, not Team Ninja's? I don't think people quite understand Sakamoto's role in the creation of the game, and think he just came up with a bad story.
