Only if Nintendo buys Capcom. Like everyone is wanting them too.

Nintendo won't buy Capcom...no matter how badly everyone wants it.

You don't know that for sure. It's still possible. Especially since nintendo said they were looking towards acquisitions.

What I like about Nintendo is they do their own thing unlike everyone else. The FPS market is huge, Sony and MS invested heavily in this genre but Nintendo didn't really care and stuck with platforming and whatever Zelda is. Both of the other company invested heavily in online and Nintendo continue to do their thing. I have no doubt that Nintendo could bring RE back to its tank controls on its glory. Must admit though I rather have the franchise stay on PS4 if it is one or the other.

They were looking for acquisitions years ago they're not looking for anyone actively after all the mergers that happened during Wii's last years. Capcom is a big publisher not a single studio or small publisher like other acquisitions it requires a lot more money in order to acquire it...something Nintendo is not interested in doing...

Capcom is worth almost nothing at the moment. Any company can buy them but there are risks. Nintendo might have to take it to rejuvenate it's place in the console space. I can almost guarantee you that Nintendo is at least talking to Capcom about buying Megaman from them. Capcom doesn't use him and they need money which Nintendo have. Maybe that is one of the reason he is in Smash.

Umm they have a market cap currently in near 2 billion in order for Nintendo to take over they need nearly double to do that to acquire not only the company alone but resources and personnel they currently own plus IPs and their respective fees.

They're not THQ...Capcom is not going bankrupt they only gave the opportunity for a takeover nothing more or less, they are not in trouble nor are they going downhill. Just because they are not releasing the games you want doesn't mean they are worthless...

No. Nintendo isn't talking about 'buying' Megaman from them. Nintendo isn't buying Capcom. Capcom isn't worth 1 million... Each of their IPs+ the company's profits all are accounted. Along with fees and employees, etc. Nintendo isn't paying 5 billion to buy Capcom. Nintendo's total profit value is 12 billion. Not happening.

Don't think you know how this works. Are you an investor? Probably not. Just because they've lost profits doesn't lower their net value or investors value.

Also: You can't buy an IP from a company as big as Capcom. Capcom wouldn't sell their IPs individually. That's a completely moronic/illogical business decision and their investors wouldn't let them. If people like you were in charge of investing, there would be chaos.

It's not like going to a store and buying whatever you want. Not how it works. Major legal process that goes through. It's not just about money, so get that out of your head.
