Nintendo might help SE localize Dragon Quest X on Wii U??

Well they would make tons of money and provide Wii U fans with a unique mmorpg.

Wish I knew why they stopped localizing this franchise after 4...then they brought over 8....then they released like all of them on DS, but really...

I know 4 didn't sell very well, but still. 8 sold very well as far as I know...it just seems like there's more than enough demand for the series over here, but I'm sure I'm wrong. One of my favorite RPG franchises.

well SE underrates it in the west. the western SE branches are also to blame since they
determine how much they would invest in localizing something, so SE japan listens to what
SE western branches think because SE Japan is okay as long as Japan has it,
the other branches do all the work for localization, so it's on their plate whether or not something gets localized.

DQ is the best rpg franchise they have alongside FF. Their insecurity has alienated the series
from having a dedicated fanbase like FF received worldwide.

....SE should do it on their own

It is a remake, not my fault you people think ports are remakes (but only on Nintendo systems)-Demondog666

Actually 7 got released in the US for the Playstation 1 but it had a rather limited release and came out not too long after the PS2 was released so it went under the radar quickly.

The reason why 5 and 6 were never released for the SNES then was because Enix's American offices actually closed down during the early 90s. Now you might ask what about Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia and the Actraiser games and how did they get US releases? Simple its because those games were made by Quintet back when they were working with Enix. It wasn't until the late 90s did Enix re-open their offices in the US.

Very interesting info...thanks for that. Forgot about 7 because of its obscurity..

Square Enix should listen to their Japanese fans and bring the game to PS4.
