Never played a DQ game before but i love the art style. (reminds me of DBZ)

Which game will ease me into the series?

They're really old school in that there's a lot of grinding involved, so if that's not your thing, you probably won't enjoy them. I find it harder to get into the original ones now that I'm older. I wouldn't say there's a particular one that would ease you into it, but unless you're a hardcore retro gamer, I'd just recommend 8 on the PS2. It's only $10, around a 60-70 hour game, and doesn't really have any major issues aside from a pretty generic story. I thought it was a great.

Square Enix doesn't listen to anyone, except maybe the janitor who was dropped on his head 47 times as a baby. That company makes some of the most baffling decisions I have ever seen, and is why they are considered a fraction of what they used to be. Isn't Chrono Trigger about to have it's 20th anniversary? Nothing. Let it die. The Final Fantasy 7 remake that has been begged for since the PS3 video. The wasted time putting resources in to that movie, and 360 development. The attention they gave Final Fantasy 13 when the first game in the series came out and was blasted by their fans, only to say we hear you guys! We are making two more!

Sorry.. Sorry.. I get so frustrated, because Square was just amazing at one point, I was so excited for anything from them back in the SNES days. I loved Secret Of Evermore, and anything else I could get my hands on. Now, they announce a game, and I like ......that's nice.

Not hard, just requires grinding. There's no real skill involved.

It requires skill, just not the same skills as a shooter or a hack and slash. Dragon Quest 8 is simple by today's standards, but battles quire you to plan in advance and change your strategy if things don't go well. A great example is the fight with Dhoulmagus. He will massacre you if you don't plan ahead. Gets even worst in his second form.

Square Enix should listen to their Japanese fans and bring the game to PS4.

Then they need to buy more PS4s then.

Japan =/= America/Europe

They mostly buy consoles when games they want release, as opposed to buying the console and whining about a drought.

Same as me. And you're forgetting that Japan is the primary market for DQ. SE isn't going to put in the effort unless sales grow over there, pure and simple.

The artist is the as DBZ's. I recommend the DS remakes are emulating the Warrior series for the Gameboy Color.
