Wii u has nothing to sink time into

All the games for wii u are quick pick ups rather than fleshed out, time consuming adventures. Maybe the new zelda or xenoblade will help with that. Not sure yet.

Aside from mh3 (which is on 3ds) there's just nothing that keeps me coming back for more.

I can't seem to put more than 25 hours into a single game before all the content is explored.

No achievements don't help

Seriously, TC never said he needed achievements or didn't know how to play a game. He's complaining that there are no RPGs on the console yet.

Lego City will consume your life. Go play that.

I've got 40+ hours in Mario Kart 8 alone
30+ in Darksiders II (which i haven't finished)
30+ in W101 (in only one playthrough, gotta do it again on Hard)
25 in Donkey Kong, and i didn't even get mosto f the collectables or beat Hard Mode after
40+ hours in WWHD, sans Hero Mode

I don' tthink the problem is the games, only your interest in said games

Achievements, when done right, are just a little bonus to encourage you to play a different way or try something you may not have thought of. They add value.

I much prefer the stamps Nintendo has anyway, since you can actually use them.

That's really not the point anyway...

Have you played Wonderful 101? I've only done the story so far, but it seems like it could be an incredible time sink.

Those bigger, longer games (usually RPGs) seem to show up a couple years into a consoles lifetime, probably because they take quite a while to make.

I've spent a lot of time on Lego: Marvel Superheroes though.
