Day 1 DLC with Mario Golf World Tour

Commercial DLC with a Mercedes in Mario Kart 8

Releasing very similar games with NSMB titles

Subscription fees for games like Pokemon Bank and Wii Sports Club

Rereleasing the same game with Wind Waker HD and Ocarina of Time 3D

Gimped online store (Origins and eShop)

as well as other things

Should be noted that most things on the list, happened between 2011-2013, AKA the 8th gen, so this is a recent trend

I'd agree Nintendo has fallen into some of the pitfalls of HD development, yes.

I think they're referring to the $2 for a 24-hour pass.

If they are, they're still wrong.

Some of these reasons are like everybody else on the market.

Day 1 DLC with Mario Golf World Tour

The game was complete without DLC and the DLC adds an enormous amount of new courses

Commercial DLC with a Mercedes in Mario Kart 8

It's free DLC

Releasing very similar games with NSMB titles

I suppose.

Subscription fees for games like Pokemon Bank

Pokemon Bank is a service, not a game

Rereleasing the same game with Wind Waker HD and Ocarina of Time 3D

Both games have new content, upgraded graphics, and new features.

Gimped online store

e-shop isn't gimped. I search for a game. I buy the game. It works just like literally any other online store.
