How's there an online adventure mode, but no online co-op? Are we fighting each other?

....wait, are we fighting each other?
Gaming is going to die again.

Reading comprehension is dead.
It says that the offline multiplayer and online multiplayer are different modes. You can't play the local one online or the online one locally.

I hope the online one is more streamlined than local. The long stages really suck when people troll you online.

eh, online has always been an imperfect concept in the Warriors series. They were always more about local anyway as any good beat em up should be

Worth mentioning that Japanese devs sometimes don't distinguish between co-op and vs.

...This has led to fans feeling misled or lied to. A look at a screenshot of Sony's press release posted by twitter user @kanade_sh14 has the language, "Online functions support up to 8 player co-op and versus gameplay, and players can enjoy co-op action with friends through ad hoc mode and with friends all over the country through Wi-Fi."...

So who knows what any game will have up until the moment we actually get it.
Everything's shiny, Cap'n. Not to fret.

Warriors Orachi 3 let you design yiur own maps and upload them online, as well as download other people's maps andplay them. I actually got more out of that than I would have coop mode. Maybe it is something like that.

For a game that has a few dozens enemies on the screen, you think adding 3 player-controlled characters will be a problem?
