Why isn't Twilight Princess your favorite Zelda game?

I don't like 3d Zelda games, yes, including OOT and I grew up during the PS1/N64 era.

The only Zelda games I've enjoyed is Zelda on NES, Zelda: A link to the past on SNES, and Zelda: A link between two worlds on 3DS.

I liked it.

It had arguably the best final boss in the series.

Zelda cycle. Give it a few more years and people will be calling it the best Zelda and one of the best games of all time.

I think it'll be the forgotten Zelda game(like it already is except with the hard core crowd that wants Zelda to turn into a ****ty romance story).

It scored lower with critics than WW and SS...

"Why isn't Twilight Princess your favorite Zelda game?"

Why isn't Link's Awakening your favorite Zelda game?

The GO-GOGGLES make it possible to get through sandstorms. That makes me happy!

Too derivative of OoT for me to say it's a better game. It's a solid second, though, at least among 3D Zeldas.

Because I like other ones better.

But seriously, I just finished replaying it today(really strange coincidence).

It's very linear. Good for story, but you never get to choose a dungeon. It's a matter of taste, but I prefer branching paths that lead to a bottleneck rather than "this is the order". Add in the fact that there isn't much going on in the dungeons. Windwaker and majora's mask has some nice side stories other than " beat the dungeon".

Graphics. They were good. But I prefer the art style of other games. Currently windwaker is probably my favorite in this aspect because I like the style more.

TP does have the ball and chain and double clawshot.

Music is a wash. Gameplay is a wash.

In the end, it's all opinion anyway.

It's probably in my top 5 but below top 3. Higher than ss anyway. Didn't care for it so much that I stopped halfway through.

Why in the blue h*** would that be a factor for why TP should be my favorite game?

WWHD is far superior to TP, and I also prefer LttP, OoT, ALBW, MM, even SS. TP was really not an amazing Zelda (although it is still a great game).

It's the least interesting entry of the lot.
Because it tried to be OOT a little too much?

Pretty much

If Platinum was HAND drawn, she'd be on paper, fool. This is a video game. They just made her on screen, no "drawing" involved -Delano7 on BlazBlue

I rank it 4th behind Link's Awakening, Wind Waker, and Skyward Sword. Too much backtracking and some of the longest fetch quests I've encountered and noticed such. Like it better than Oot and MM.
