Zen stuudios says the Wii U is A Difficult Platform To Support Technically

Studios work on many things. If they remove or add nothing, it's more than likely something else holding it up. It doesn't just sit there as an "FU" to the customers. That makes 0 sense financially.

But still logically it makes less sense to have a version worse then games from a generation ago, or bringing late titles.

Depends on limitations. If a studio can cut corners and still think it can profit, it will. It may be more difficult to develop for the Wii U, not sure. Or the cost to ramp up a team to get to the point of developing may be too costly for some.

Development studios don't do things to spite, regardless of how the public takes it.

But it's a issue, cutting corners makes them look bad and gamers are not idiots, if they know something is a bad version they are going to be reluctant to buy it, which means poor sales will be poor and thus 3rd Party are reluctant to create anything. It's a stupid cycle any gamer could solve the issue with much better choices.

Also Phil Fish.

People bought COD for years. You don't think they cut corners or rehash? It's not dumb if it works.

Maybe not, but again there is ad difference in HOW one cuts corners. If you are on a time limit and don't put in features is one thing, but making an 8th Gen port of a title worse then a 7th gen game is a poor use of time and resources. And all it serves to do is piss off potential Wii U buyers, serves to make the developer look bad, serves to damage 3rd party relations with consumers, and serves to have 3rd party cut back, all because they created an inferior product or chose the wrong product to market, aka putting only ME3 on the Wii U, which everyone already knows is the worst entry to the series.

I'm sorry but a LOT of off choices seem to be made with certain 3rd party titles, plus the fact that the Wii U has to contend with two 80+ Million unit systems.

That just makes them sound like bad developers.

Yeah No. Every console has its challenges. That includes the Wii U. And Zen Studios makes some of the most detailed games you'll probably ever play.

Seeing that they are talking about patches and additions, it seems what is difficult with the Wii U is how updates and DLC are handled, and not the actual programming of the games.
