Nintendo realy should follow Sony and put out Demos when they are announced.

At events like E3 and gamescom. The Silent Hill demo being released on the day it was announced has gotten so many people interested in it. It shows that you really can release an in work demo and have it work great and get people into the game.

if it becomes more of a standard it would be great.

I didn't know that Sony made Silent Hill. That being said it's nice to see other devs follow Nintendo's example at E3 2013 and 2014 with their E3 experiences. The lines for those events were insaaaane.

A lot of developer should follow suit considering demos are a rarity.

Also Silent Hill =/= Sony

I honestly don't konw why they don't release more demos. I would have loved to play the Splatoon demo from E3.

eh, what's the point of the demo if I still have to wait months to purchase the game?

Well, I mean, that's what a demo is.

But I want to have the taste to see if I should eat the whole thing. If I already knew I was going to get it, I wouldn't need the demo.

But if I am one the fence about it enough to download the demo, I'd rather the game be out or soon to be out so I get it before losing interest or forgetting about it.

There are some demos I like, like how Bravel Default and Etrian Odyssey Untold had the demo version unlock some stuff in the main game. I'm not just getting a taste, I really am playing the game early.
