to develop games for it because it's hard to go up against Nintendo's greatest.

Some companies pretty much admitted this to be the case as to why they feel their games flop on Nintendo systems. It takes a special kind of 3rd party game to do well on a nintendo system apparently.

This is not a Wii U problem. It is a Nintendo problem in general. Nintendo fans tend to not care about third parties when you look at sells from other systems.

Using this logic, why isn't the Wii U selling better than it is? Why isn't it even pulling Gamecube numbers? If this applies to games, surely it extends to consoles? No? Oh, ok, it's probably just Nintendo fans buying only Nintendo games. Unless you're trying to tell me NSMBU, a generic Mario rehash, outsold other great games like ZombiU and W101 out of sheer quality.

It's not the only problem.

Pretty sure it sold that well because it was bundled with the system.
My sig will never happen, but it would be awesome if it did.

Look at the highest selling 3rd party game on the Wii, then compare it with any nintendo game.

So in essence it's the Nintendrones fault. Cuz if it ain't first party Nintendo titles it just ain't right.
Kinda makes sense actually...
In a sad way.

That's...actually the real reason. The developers themselves have admitted it more than once in the past.
