Game Pad Implementation

Firstly, the Game Pad could be used for quick access to items, partners, and menus. You could switch around badges while on the move. Switching partners in particular is something that would benefit play a lot. A decent amount of time in the first three PM games is spend on the pause screen, and the Game Pad would greatly reduce that.

Next, the Game Pad could be used to interact with the audience. You might poke a member that you want to get rid of, or blow out a Bulky Bob-Bomb with the mic. I would really enjoy seeing what IS could come up with to do with the Game Pad in the battle system.

Finally, minigames could involve the Game Pad. Super Paper Mario's minigames involve motion controls, and it worked pretty well there. One minigame could have the payer messing with scraps of paper to accomplish things. Also, on related note, I'd really enjoy seeing a minigame where you get to make use of various partners from the first two games. You would be solving randomly generated puzzles using Bow, Sushi, Koops, Flurrie, Yoshi, and Admiral Boberry just as they were in PM64 and TTYD. It could be quite fun.
