So Isabelle is probably gonna be kept for Animal Crossing U

I expected that. I mean she is one of the most popular characters. I can't see U using the mayor motif so I imagine her role would be changed like with every other major NPC.

Animal Crossing has been on every Nintendo home console since the Nintendo 64. Wii U will get an Animal Crossing game.

Good, I love Isabelle. I'm happy she's an assist trophy in Smash Bros and a future playable character in Mario Kart.

Animal Crossing is as much a console franchise as it is handheld, if not more.

Animal Crossing debuted on Gamecube. It was never on N64.

The franchise started in the N64 in Japan, the game was commonly known as Animal Forest (or Doubutsu no Mori)

Animal Crossing debuted on America and Europe on the GameCube
