Not so much new ideas but new avenues for certain.

It is perfect for games that involve a first-person type viewpoint. It is perfect for strategy games. It is perfect as just supplementary screen. Maps, inventory, etc.

My initial reaction was more along the lines of "what am I supposed to do with that".

Smh. More fairweather bs from iKhanic. I can see why you created the new account when you did:

I agree that the Gamepad wasn't the best way to bring innovation and potential to the system

Strange, seeing as you made a topic a few months back stating the opposite. If memory serves, you said that the WiiU gamepad was "a step in the right direction" or similar.

The Gamepad was the whole reason why I bought the console, but they don't seem to be making any real use out of it yet. Its a shame, really. It has a lot more potential than they are giving it credit for. The problem is that I can imagine devs being lazy about programming games to get the most out of it.

Didn't expect anything revolutionary; basically expected what we got:
- Off TV-Play
- some touchscreen stuff
- basically all form of menus transferred to the gamepad (Which I find AWESOME)
When I want realistic graphics, I take a break from gaming and look at reality......

Doesn't it bother you how much power was sacrificed for really passive features that have been done before?
