Just give me Wii U Pro Controller support and I'll be the first in line to pre order it.

That will never happen. The game was built around motion controls, and it'll stay built around motion controls like it or not.

inb4 someone brings up that one emulator vid

Skyward Sword is way too recent to have a HD remake.

That didn't stop the GCN>Wii Motion rehases.
Even though I like the Wii U, I do not consider it a Nintendo system.

Remake the first one on a modern engine. Then count money.

Twilight Princess would be much more well-suited for an HD remake:
- The game's graphics could seriously benefit from a face lift.
- The game's lack of difficult - one of the most common complaints people have about the game - could easily be fixed in a remake.
- The game's controls would be really easy to translate to the Game Pad if a player doesn't want to use the Wiimote + Nunchuck.
- There are some other problems with the game that wouldn't be difficult to correct.
More villains need to be protagonists. BIS proves it can work.
Ridley, Ganondorf, Bowser, Fawful and King Dedede all for their own games!

Additionally, the game could be de-linearized quite easily. There's little reason why the bulk of the game between sewers and castle has to be done in a specific sequence, apart from arbitrary lockouts.
