THQ starts releasing titles every two years? That way they can have as much time to work on it as WWE '12 and if the more time thing came to fruition then WWE '12 would be replayable for two years in the least, which by then they release another game better than WWE '12 and so on. On the year in between a different team could be working on a game like All Stars or Legends of Wrestlemania or something. Again different team that worked on either of those games, and only in the year between WWE '__ games.

Releasing a game every two years would be perfect anyways, it'd give THQ more time too make a better game. WWE would never allow it though, since they want their games released yearly.

Since the WWE is more of an entertainment program than a sport I really haven't understood the need for a yearly game.

You can argue that new wrestlers come in and to that I would say dedicate a team of people to add wrestlers via DLC like twice a year, around WM and Summerslam.

One of the things I like about EA's non-annual sports series is they seem to receive more work and polish, like the Fight Night games. I think a development period that is longer and takes fan feedback more into account would benefit the game greatly.

Sadly as someone else pointed out it won't happen since that is not how THQ and the WWE envision the license as working.
