- DigitalTrends.com features an article looking at Electronic Arts being on the lookout for acquisitions of other video game studios. They speculate that THQ could be acquired, meaning EA would take over the rights to WWE's video games.

I hope this is true, but I'm not getting my hopes too high.

Personally, I hope it's true. I'd rather have to start with a new game series than put up with THQ's crap and lies every year.

ea always has good sports games and gets more realistic every year. Maybe they can add all features we want like they do with madden and nba.

Well, as much as I hate EA for slacking on most of their titles, their worst effort is better than THQ's best.

Live 10 was awesome. Don't play Madden, so I wouldn't know. They could still use Yuke's as the developer. As long as EA isn't as obsessed with telling people to remove crap for no reason like THQ does.

I made a thread awhile ago speculating this. EA getting the license makes the most sense. Sure they tend to ripoff people with DLC, but at their core they make decent sports games. Even if they keep Yukes as the developer, they'd have a much bigger budget to work with.

yes nba2k12 is good and more realistic and madden they improve evry year. EA could add more features and also i think personally story designer is a waste of time that thq made.

Madden is at least customizable. With the proper settings and slider adjustments I've always been able to get good, realistic, gameplay out of Madden. Can't say that about this WWE series of games since SD vrs Raw 2006.
