3D Classics: Excitebike

Is there actually an ending to the game, a final track? If I pick Track 5 and keep placing in the top 3, will I eventually see a 'congratulations' screen?

I am not even familiar with whether it was possible in the original NES game.

in the original there was a ceremony after every few races
