I'm a huge fan of Silent Hill music, and have a playlist of the "listenable tracks" from every game in the series on my iPod. In fact, the thing I look forward (or used to at least), with every new release of a Silent Hill title was being able to add new tracks to my Master Silent Hill Music playlist.

Sadly, after Akira Yamaoka left, I feared my playlist would never expand. Anyway, it seems Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, the vocalist for pretty much every vocal Silent Hill track, has contributed to two tracks for the Book of Memories soundtrack. Also, I read Akira Yamaoka played a solo in one of the tracks.

I really enjoy these two new tracks, and am elated to be able to add them to the collection of the Silent Hill Hall of Fame. What do you guys thing?

Where did you find these tracks? Is the ost out already? I live the vocal stuff from Silent Hill, so I'd there are new vocal songs, I'll be happy.

Yay! New Mary Elizabeth McGlynn songs! Those were good. Daniel Licht is a good composer, Downpour had a good soundtrack, but was missing vocals by McGlynn. Now there will be new songs added to my Silent Hill playlist. Now I'm even more excited for Book of Memories.

You can find the OST on Amazon, here: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=book+of+memories+OST

Thanks for posting the youtubes, guys. Don't know why I didn't think of that.

Surprisingly, I am very content with the Downpour soundtrack, and I agree the only thing it was missing was Mary's haunting and emotive vocals.

I don't mind waiting for this game as long as it's good when it comes out, but I'm already very happy with the soundtrack.
