Subweapon grinding tip.

For some weapons, it is better to fight Legion with the Astral/Master set if you can have a Charlotte serve as a Heal totem. This is because you can do it for more than three minutes. The Knife is a good example of what this is valid with. Holy Water and Grenade are examples where this won't work. You can also do this with the stage's Final Guard if you can get behind it, though it'll die much faster, so be sure to move on to Legion anyway.

Why would you ever grind Legion with an Astral Charlotte when grinding Menace with an Astral Charlotte is so much better? If your lobby is large enough you'll go the full half hour without killing him.

Plus it's a lot safer to grind Menace, especially on Hard. If anything, grinding against Legion on Hard risks the life of your part unless someone's babysitting at the door.

Just from potion using XP gain = 3288 XP

Not really a bad amount (~3.3%). It doesn't beat survival grinding speed but its an alternative method. The fish in Chapter 8 works good too for Grando and can be done right near the start but you'll prob end up killing them long before you get through the full list of potions but double the gains if you hit both. Plus if you alternate HP - MP you can get a few extra bars of MP casts at 96XP each due to mana regen.

Are you grinding the weapons on Hard difficulty? Normal is pretty bad past lv.5.
