NEW FEATURE/IDEA: let us reset the outposts in the "postgame"

i'm not at the post game yet, but would that be a good feature to lengthen the time invested? or maybe an option to play fully cleared or all bases are back depending on how you want to play that day?

wacha think?

That's the ONE problem I have with this game. It's really too bad.

Agreed, on my first play through and I've been not liberating outposts just to keep the islands active, I don't feel like riding around an empty island with nothing but civilians that I can't murder at-will.

I'm missing out on some crafting materials but it seems worth it to me, I've only liberated maybe 3 outposts so far.

Seems like bad design but I can forgive them some. That being said, I wish you could just reset them or some such, would like to get some of those crafted items.

yeah, i have one stage below "Extended" in all belts and i have never been lacking of anything, character is pretty OP already so i don't bother with the outposts either.

Yea resetting outposts would be cool i finished the game yesterday and captured all the first island outposts but i left all the 2nd islands untouched at least... i remember seeing a post about a feature they could do with the pirates/privateers recapturing the outposts back once you take them that would be pretty cool imo if they did that as dlc i would even pay for it lol that would add so much replayability

Agreed.

However, you can attack Citra's Islanders to turn them hostile with no repercussions. If you kill enough of them the entire island will become hostile...so there's that. Not quite the same though.

Really? That's awesome. Aren't they civilians though? I thought you died after killing a few civilians.

great idea! Its a simple fix Ubisoft can give us via an update. It doesnt use any new game elements so it doesnt require dlc content.

I killed a crapton of them without issues. The soldiers mind you. Regular civilians you do get punished for.
They'll stay hostile until you kill one of Vaas' Pirates in their presence.

There seem to be a lot of people asking for this, which I find interesting, because enemies re-spawning at outposts was the most criticized aspect of Far Cry 2. Although having the option to do so, or maybe the pirates having the ability to take over nearby outposts to ones they control, would be good (although I did get sick of baby sitting my "hood" in GTA:SA). I must admit I've only just cleared out the first island and am now wishing that I left most of the outposts to keep an element of danger.

I wish Vaas' pirates would organize some specialist squads to hunt you down in the jungle after you take out a certain number of their outposts. This would introduce a new threat to replace the one you remove, and also move the location of battles to different areas of the map.
