Trials of the Rakyat - does your difficulty setting matter?

when I do any Trials of the Rakyat does it make any difference to the difficulty and the score obtained what difficulty setting the game was on?

I don't think the trials are affected by your difficulty, but even if it were it wouldn't make much difference.
