So instead of fixing Framerate/Tearing issues in FC3 they made Blood Dragon ;-)

I can understand, its more fun for a dev to work on something new especially if its this cool, over fixing bugs and issues of an already released game.

I feel in FC3 especially at some point after the 1.01 update the tearing got really bad. Not sure tho but now the game is pretty much unplayable for me on ps3. All other games are fine.

Still looking forward to blood dragon, will people who bought fc3 get it cheaper or even for free?

actually i think i have to correct the patch version.

i noticed the tearing on ps3 got pretty bad on 1.02 actually if i am not mistaken. since patch 1.01 was day1 right? back then the game looked way better.

I haven't had any of these issues.

Try uninstalling the game data and see if that helps.

its weird i didnt notice it at first either. not a lot.

but now its there.

also it was mentioned in reviews etc .. quote :

"Our footage starts off at an unprecedented low during the cut-scene with Vaas, for which we record a remarkably sluggish 15FPS on PS3"

"Even so, travelling around the islands by either foot or car still gives us wavering readings on both consoles, mostly circulating around the 25FPS point."

"However, the regular, high levels of tearing prove to be the greater issue here."

I was on a month ago and the frame rates seemed better to me?

They can't just fix the framerate with a patch. The game is just too demanding in some instances for the hardware to handle.

patches dont sell software, new games sell software. so if you all about making money, you make blood dragon.

I thought my game was pretty nice looking. I only saw grass growing through stuff like 20 times, not really a big issue. go play fallout 3 or new vegas, Ultimate editions, if you want to complain about glitches. Those games are glitch-fests.

Nice looking game, on my machine. Thank you.
