But seriously, this gun breaks singleplayer.

I might be quite late here but, how so? Honestly curious, I tried it a few times but never found it too useful

BTW I have my own cult, the Order of the Blowtorch. I''m the only member and I'm a mind**** who likes torturing people by cooking them slowly with the blowtorch, even though that's pretty useless and risky but satisfying

The Holy Weapon is a very effective killing tool. Direct one-hit kills and close proximity to ground zero... well most things just like to die around it.

Mm, but isn't it just as effective in one hit killing as the flamethrower, but slow with constant reloading and very limited ammo?

Mobility is hampered with the flamethrower, not to mention moving will likely get you caught by your own flame.

If you know you'll hit the enemy dead on, aim for their body. If they are squirreling about, aim at their feet.

There were few instances in the game where I couldn't solve my problem with the flaregun.

Mobility is a good argument, though I still defend the flamethrower because of the gun's reloads

It was nice discussing it ^_^
