After watching the new trailer, this game is a "must have" for the SP alone.

Absolutely amazing stuff. It looks intense, it looks smooth, it looks like it has an actual story and the world makes FC2 look ugly. They could CUT the map editor and I'll still buy this game day one. Forget about vehicles... lol.

Of course, I still WANT vehicles and the map editor and all that. But it looks like they're making a REALLY special SP game.

I'm just really glad singleplayer is looking good because honestly I just want this game to succeed and kill off other crap shooters that are dominating like Halo/CoD.

I knew multiplayer was looking much improved, but it's a relief to see that singlplayer is doing great also. I want this game to kill all around, as fanboy as it sounds.

I doubt it will have much impact on the COD market as they do not have much cross over. COD is killing itself quite nicely already, not that it couldn't use a little help.

Yeah, FC won't be stealing CoD thunder any time soon. Perhaps if Ubisoft doesn't botch the MP launch like they did with FC2 we won't lose half our players inside a month and there will be a larger fanbase for FC4.

I really have no doubt that it will be my GOTY. It looks simply amazing IMO.

I dunno, now it even has 4 player CO-OP that's a whole new game within it.

They're flat out copying all of the best elements from CoD, have a much longer and more interesting story mode, a 4 player CO-OP, multiplayer Map Editor... I think it's easily going to scoop away a large portion of CoD fans.

I know for a fact that I'm not getting the newest CoD, for the first time since CoD 4. So it's working on me, anyway. There's lots of people like me who only bought CoD year after year because they weren't fully satisfied with any other FPSs out there and wanted something new each year. (though each new CoD wasn't that "new", but whatever)

The main reason this game WON'T steal too many sales from CoD is advertising. CoD has a HUGE advertising budget, FC3 does not.
