No, and I don't really see the correlation, they both take place on an island, and at one point in the film Dicaprio stabs a Mako, but that's about it.

also frank in FC2 was a better actor than leonardo

^^ really? hes actually done some pretty decent films since his Titanic days, The Departed, Shutter Island, Blood Diamond, Inception, Gangs of New York, some of my fav films.

not really a movie person

particularly not interested any of the ones you listed lol. my tastes are firmly p[lanted in cars and the odd anime and of course when the two collide so Initial D and Wangan Midnight are up there for me.

No, but he did voice half the characters in Farcry 2 with his Blood Diamonds accent.
