RedFive3Posted 11/5/2012 8:00:40 PM | When I had a PS3 I bought all multiplats for 360. Most of the time 360 version is better plus XBL>>>>>>>PSN.
But lately I have been buying most games on PC. Might get FC3 for 360 too if enough of my Xbox friends get it for MP. --- I'm your huckleberry... You spend nine months trying to get out, and the rest of your life trying to get back in. |
thompson97Posted 11/5/2012 8:58:42 PM | Honestly brah, anyone here giving you their "logical opinion" is talking out of their *** the only way to find out which one is SERIOUSLY (bro im totally serial) better is waiting for release and watching a few comparison videos. Other than that its all a bunch of speculation. |

xMotionSicknessPosted 11/6/2012 1:00:45 PM | All I can see is opinion being passed off as fact while these fan boys blindly defend their chosen console.
Here's a non-biased post. After owning both consoles I can tell you the difference. PS3 has free online gaming, fact. The majority of games which sell on both consoles are made on the xbox first, then ported to the PS3, fact. This leads to an obvious, yet often subtle, advantage to the xbox, fact. Millions of people own either an xbox or a PS3, fact, this means you will get all kinds of diversity in online gaming and you can't truthfully say one console has a better community than the other.
In my experience, the xbox players are, on average, better and tougher than the PS3 players. Games on both consoles tend to have more issues on the PS3 due to the porting process. Porting is like remastering a 1960's western, the graphics are still going to be of a poor quality but the picture is slightly sharper than it was before, giving the PS3 the advantage in the graphics department. Saying the PS3 can't keep up with 30fps is bollocks, both consoles (providing you own the latest xbox slim) are equal in the technical department with the xbox owning a RAM twice as high as the PS3. Random Access Memory improves loading times, Blu-ray keeps up with this however, as an install is mandatory, unlike xbox.
Enough of this bollocks, buy for whichever console you prefer, they are both on par with each other, with the PC being far superior. Any PS3 footage you have seen will be an old port, whereas the xbox can be shown at any time at its current stage as there's no need to prepare the game with a port beforehand. --- "I'll start with hiring two private detectives and get them to follow each other!" |
TSR5521Posted 11/7/2012 7:58:35 AM | For me it is simple, the Xbox controller feels better for FPS/TPS games. Graphics and on-line usually are close enough not to sway me. |

Idk how to explain it but blops 1 went down on the PSN due to hurricane Sandy so I played it on my 360. I play FPS on my PS3 because my best mates play and the PS3 controller is more comfy for me in terms of mobility and precision. Things I instantly noticed on the 360 - Game ran smoother, no connection interruptions, match making was alot more balanced, i also felt hit detection was better and less lag. By less lag I kind of mean I didnt felt like I was being ripped off kills. Even with being uncoordinated with the 360 controller I was winning most gun on gun confrontations compared to PSN where alot of times Im dead without even getting a shot off. --- Mess with the bull?... |

Again, personal experience is not going to be the same for everyone. I get the same bullsht playing call of duty on the xbox as I do on the playstation. But the controller feels a lot more comfortable for me so I stick with the ps3. --- "I'll start with hiring two private detectives and get them to follow each other!" |
