To those worried about the frame rate.

If you have a HDD with enough space, just install the game, it makes a noticeable difference.

Also, after around the first few missions, the framerate evens out for some reason, and looks to be on par with Skyrim.

Note: This game is stupid fun, so don't let the game's ONLY flaw ruin it for you :)

What I wanted to know is why there's more noticeable tearing in FC3 than FC2. I had thought this new "Dunia 2" engine would be more optimized than "1". And that FC2 came out in 2008, which is a long time ago.


Does anyone know if there will be a future patch to improve performance? If you remember RE6, the initial demo had awful screen tearing everywhere you went, but when Capcom released demo 2, as well as the retail version, ALL the tearing was gone. completely.
Will FC3 get an update for this?

Well the game is really sexy, its huge open world thats why the console will suffer a bit too. For RE6 demo are taken from beta build they have in house , so for sure performance can be ugly. We at the end of this cycle they push the console to their limit and we see that just now with some games. Just take a look at BF3 I have it on Xbox and PC big difference.
