SunDevil has several terrible posts littered across the entire of Gamefaqs. I wouldn't worry about it. I agree TC open world games can be overrated but you sound like you're pretty boring. Open World games are awesome because of the complexity of the world and the chaotic randomness that can happen at any moment.

Hah, stalkers. Gotta love em.

Most of the time you need to make your own fun in these types of games. That's the best part!

Agreed. TC is ignorant and boring.

TC ran out of adderal. His ADHD is too much for sandbox games.

Wrong. I have enjoyed sandbox games like Infamous, Deus Ex: HR and Borderlands 1 & 2. I just think having a bunch of boring things to do doesn't make a game better than a more straightforward game.

So, have you played FC3?

Not yet, but I plan to buy it eventually. Just posted this here because it is the the latest "gosh there is just so much to do" game...

I like open world games. I am saying they are not inherently better than linear games.

That is not why I praise this game at all.
The setting, characters, graphics, and execution of basic FPS elements are all excellent.

No you are boring. I don't need to make my own fun. A great game does that for you.

No one ever claims they were...people like open world for the openess, and not being constantly told what to do. It's just something different.

Really? I constantly see linear=bad whenever discussing upcoming games.

I have never personally seen that but generally when a game that was previously open goes for more of a linear design in subsequent sequels it is seen as a bad thing. People aren't gonna complain when they already know what they're getting.
