Far Cry 3

My friend let me borrow Far Cry 2 or 1 a couple years back and I enjoyed it but never had the chance to complete it. Far Cry 3 is the first Far Cry game that I bought and I'm hoping it won't disappoint me... but then again, Idk how it can seeing as how I don't have any high hopes or expectations for the game.



But one question.. how does it compare to Borderlands 2? Which game is better? Honestly, Borderlands 2 was the best game I've played in years. It's still my GOTY this year. But what I'm wondering is... will Far Cry 3 be able to top that? My guess is a no. I can't see any FPS game topping Borderlands 2, but that's just me.
