woolaysPosted 12/11/2012 9:35:43 PM | I use it with a marksman sight, and I really enjoy the feel of having 20+ arrows to sling at stuff, but half the time I miss my shots, or the arrows phase through without killing them.
Any suggestions? --- All hail the mighty woolay. http://i1115.photobucket.com/albums/k541/Muddywater10/stupid3-23.png |

Use red dot sight. This - if you can't use the marksman, use this one instead. Otherwise you'll just end up frustrated. --- Jill Valentine > You |
TheMercenary544Posted 12/12/2012 1:13:09 AM | Practice in an open area at a wall or tree and learn how to use the range finder dots. I sucked with the bow until I learned that and now I even use it in heated combat against everything from snipers to chargers. --- Laissez les bons temps rouler!! |
Big_Ed_MustaphaPosted 12/12/2012 1:19:36 AM | I use a waypoint to get the distance as it shows how far you are from it in the corner, I know enemies dont show up on the map, but I use the buildings at outposts as reference points to gauge the guard positions.
I find its an easy and effective way of being decent with the bow. --- King of the evil/normal monkeys who are now mostly normal but flesh eating while frowned upon is not entirely rare |

Forgive_ForgetPosted 12/12/2012 2:13:12 AM | Use red-dot sight? I thought marksmen was suppose to be easier to use?
All I can say is that the arrow drop isn't that significant, or so I think.
I don't know if you can do this in the map editor (haven't used it yet), but I'd say if you could you should set up a target practice area from various distances and whatnot. --- Poker dice champ since winning two games in a row |
EduardoESRPosted 12/12/2012 2:26:56 AM | Oddly enough, fire arrow seems to be even worst than regular arrow, I just can't get It to hit. Even when I feel like I hit the target, the floor starts burning but not the enemy. |
