I just killed Vaas and I have to say I am extremely disappointed how things turned out. Right when I got the mission objective to go seek payback on Vaas, I was really hoping it wouldn't end like I was afraid it would. In this case, Vaas's death. Why market him so significantly, only to kill him a little over halfway through the game?
AND what potential he had! I thought his character was phenomenal and a true terror to see in the game. I wish Ubisoft would have expanded on his role. Could you imagine if in The Dark Knight Batman captured the joker at the end of the movie like he did EXCEPT in the middle of the film instead? He just gets put into jail and he's done. That's how I feel right now.
Don't get me wrong I love this game, but as I progress I find more and more things wrong with it.

RusticGamerPosted 12/13/2012 11:13:10 PM | I think its unanimous that Vaas was under utilized. Many people including myself believe him to be the best villain since Ledger's Joker. He has such a strong screen presence. Such a bold psychotic demeanor.
I think the "Boss" battles (i.e QTE's) work better than "meet boss, shoot him a few times. Win." Even though we all would like to feel like we had more control over the encounter for gameplays sake. It's more realistic this was from a story standpoint. Anything more would have been like playing with your food. There's plenty of action outside of these 3 encounters in the game.

You know what else would have been cool? If Vaas killed Hoyt and led his army vs you and the Rakyat to fight for the island. Even if Vaas would have killed hoyt I'd be okay with that.
