MySnakesSolidPosted 12/31/2012 5:58:55 AM | I'm sure some people have done this easily, I imagine from a zip line it's ridiculously simple if you see an enemy underneath one but I've never had that luxury. Had a few attempts at storming outposts from the parachute but kept getting shot down, and then the glider but kept missing just by an inch or crashing into posts lol, even falling to my death and worst of all - timing everything correctly only to land on an armoured guard and not be able to do the takedown!!
was gonna give up on it but then I saw a glider near and decided to give it another shot. Found 2 of them along the pier/wooden walkway by the shore (it's the outpost most south east on the southern part of the map) and so I dropped from a glider and not only took out one, but 2 guys. Then the alarm was set off, I saw a tiger in the cage so shot that, and the tiger and I just ran riot over loads of them. Then I was the last man standing and the flag was raised.
This 5 - 10min sequence is the most satisfaction I've had from a game all year.

UFF_FreedomPosted 12/31/2012 6:35:58 AM | i did it during one of the quests in the "find the knife" arc. you were constantly on ziplines and there were always enemies at the end of them, so it was easy! |

But i got mine on (SPOILERS)
The mission where you have to get the log book for that German guy, you're in a ravine using zip lines all the way to where you have to go, I saw 2-3 opportunities to get the achievement there as well.

MySnakesSolid (Topic Creator) Posted 12/31/2012 2:28:14 PM | nice. It felt so satisfying getting it the way I did though, considering I wasted a good 30mins overall trying it. Normally I don't chase achievements, not ones that require loads of grinding and searching anyway (I won't bother with the relic one for example) but this is a good old skill based one if you do it from a glider! |
TheBestFallerPosted 12/31/2012 2:41:05 PM | Got mine on accident. Had just finished activating a radio tower, taking the zipline down, then he automatically just dropped onto this dude. I think it was just luck with him being in the spot I dropped from the line, because I didn't let go early or anything.

kid_a_lotPosted 1/5/2013 8:05:34 PM | I just can't do it, I'm trying to do a zip line kill in that medusa mission with the boats really early on, I lure a guy with a few rocks them jump and land right next to him. Does the timing have to be spot on for this to work?

_Saint_Posted 1/6/2013 4:58:04 PM | there is an excellent spot to try this over and over again JUSt north of the entrance of the pirate cove cave entrance, a zip line and 2-3 guards who respawn pretty consistently, I got it my first try there with rocks. just make sure you lead the guy first, and start down the line just before he gets to the spot |
