Why does everyone hate Jasons friends so much?

Oliver was a drug addict with daddy issues. Keith acted like a punk in the flashbacks. Daisy seemed fine, until I left the cave the final time and she made a comment about how I was good at looking out for myself. At that point everyone in the cave had Jason to thank for not living in sexual enslavement. The rest were okay at best. I liked Grant the most. I don't know if you have ever broken up with a girl, but in my experience, they say a lot worse things than that. Imo, an addict and a pothead are the same thing and Keith was a fake tough guy. I'm not saying that their actions weren't understandable or that there aren't many college kids just like them, because there are. However, that doesn't make them likeable. Dumb, drunken young people exist in entertainment as fodder for whatever malevolent forces are afoot. Oliver specifically talks about taking MDMA as well, and seems a little perma-fried. Regardless, he seemed like a pretty good character. I thought all of Jason's friends seemed alright, but the intro with their names appearing on the screen definitely made them seem kind of douchey. --- \m/ | |

I don't really see much hate on the boards towards Jason's friends to be honest. People just tend to say they're douchebags and lets be honest, they sort of are. But they're young, most people around that age tend to be douchebags, I have plenty of friends like that. It's not really hatred towards them it's just that they're still a bunch of immature kids so people kind of think they come across as dicks. --- We walk toward desire, hand in hand through fields of fire, with only love to light the way, on the road to judgement day.
