I just picked up Far Cry 3, and I was wondering if there are any important downloadable updates I need to get before starting the single player mode.
I ask this because hooking my 360 up to the internet in my current residence involves tethering my phone data connection to my 360, and if the update is very large, I may not have enough free data to download it.
So basically, are there any important single player updates? And if so, how large are the files? --- "Its not the size of the dog in the fight, its the size of the fight in the dog." -Mark Twain

Yep. Any game today pretty much will. The update prevents some game breaking issues and just annoying things. Iirc one of them is 7mb. Can't remember on the others.

7mb isn't too bad. Thanks for the response. --- "Its not the size of the dog in the fight, its the size of the fight in the dog." -Mark Twain

Yeah you definitely want it. There's tons of game breaking glitches that stop you from progressing entirely, and the patch fixes at least some of them.
