Just bought the game for $40. Worth it? No spoilers please.

Should be here in about two weeks. Worth it?

Haven't played a FC game in a long time. Hoping I'll enjoy it.

Well it's definitely not worth $60, I'd put as being worth 30 or less. But if you're a fan of the series you'll probably be okay with what you get.

40$ is a pretty good price (what I paid for on boxing day XD). There's a pretty long story/campaign mode, 2 massive islands to explore and loot, tons of sidequests, a bajillion collectibles, and the map editor is fun to mess around in.

Can you use vehicles in the map editor? I enjoyed that so much in the other FC. Not sure if it was the 1st or 2nd.

Making little race tracks/obstacles basically. Good times.

I hear a lot of people going on about how you can't use vehicles in the editor. I don't know if this applies just to multiplayer, but putting it in single player maps with bots (yes, there are bots, which I think disables the map use in multiplayer, although can still mess around in single player) works. Means you can put a straight line of (insert hated enemy type here), a Jeep, then mow them over.

Hell yes it's worth it! I don't even like shooters and I love this game. On like my 4th pkaythrough.

The game is worth $60, imo. The game has a ton of content, wrapped all together with great controls / gunplay. Every aspect, from the hunting, exploration, crafting, and combat variety / customization is fully fleshed out. One day you might get your rocks off spending hours meticulously taking down pirate encampments, and the next finding hidden relics in the lush and vast game world. Easily one of the best open world games this generation has to offer.

AVP was worth $40 this is more like $20 for so many obvious reasons that is easily found online and from aliens fans. It feels kind of like Aliens 4 when a really good concept was butchered and made into a suckfacing dissapointment.
