Stopping point? ( minor spoilers )

Is there a point of no return? I am about to head to Vaas' island, but I haven't been south yet and want to get all the radio towers, outposts, etc... Is there still time?

You're not at the "point of sort of no return" yet. You have the whole south island after Vaas.

You can continue playing after that point in any case.

You're not really close to the point of no return. You'll be told explicitly before you start the end game mission.

Even then you can free roam after it and complete side quests.

Edit: Ninja'd by 15 seconds.

As soon as I got to the south island I hit all the radio towers and 4 outposts with memory cards then tried to finish up as much of the northern island as possible. Southern island is way more fun and challenging then the northern, although the northern island seems to have more jumps and scenic vistas and what not.

Like Glitchwerks said, there's no missing the point of no return. Before you accept the mission a bit pop-up comes up and tells you there will be no return.

Maybe you mean the missions or the terrain or the outposts are more challenging... if you mean the island in general then I'm not sure what you're talking about.

Personally I've felt that the game is essentially over after getting to the southern island, assuming that everything has been done up north. the privateer suit sees to this.

No more long lived battle royales. No more aggro for the most part. I've been pretty disappointed with the southern island.
