Ubisoft is offering free uPlay rewards

from February 19 to March 4th.

It's only for Assassin's Creed III and Far Cry 3. I haven't played this game but I thought I should let everyone know.

Assassin's Creed III and Far Cry 3 Rewards giveaway
Until March 4, redeem all Rewards for Assassin's Creed III and Far Cry 3 without spending a single Uplay Unit!

You can redeem your Rewards from the game page on www.uplay.com, under the WIN tab in the Uplay PC client, from the iOS Uplay app or any other Uplay destination when logged in with your Uplay account. Once redeemed, your Rewards will automatically be available in your game.

Uh don't you get the Uplay rewards for completing stuff in game?

no you get points for certain achievements (the points equal the gamerscore of the cheev)

which you can spend on rewards to unlock a dashboard theme and some content for the game they work kinda like MS points

there are 4 points rewarding cheevs and 4 rewards.

this basically frees up points for other games as far as i know

They have a free farcry theme for 360. It sucks but its better than nothing I guess?

How can I explain this. Well. For starters, I went to http://uplay.ubi.com/en-US/. I logged in, I redeemed "free" Far Cry 3 stuff and it confirmed by saying "Redeemed". I turn on my console and I went under themes and I don't see the theme I got for "free". I only see the default one. What gives?

Oh. Before I forget. My email address address on the console is different than the one for Uplay. Would that matter?

Also, I don't have the game inserted, just yet.

Never mind. Found a solution. I just went to "UPlay" from the main menu and it recognized my free download and I was able to install my theme.
