Just finished this game

It was a blast. I just got 100% completion. All side quest and outpost done. Not really into looking for all the relics and stuff though. So I went up to GameStop and picked up borderlands 2 and I just left. I heard it was fun so I thought I'd grab it. Anyone have any insight on it? Tips? Is it really good or is it a waste of 40 dollars?

Not nearly as good as the first one.

It feels like a grind most of the time. Sadly.

to be honest, you should have bought Borderlands 1 with all the DLC (if you dont own it already). BL2 feels like the soul has been ripped from the series, and after the soul was ripped out, it jumped the shark.

Borderlands 1 was much better than Borderlands 2 in terms of gameplay and the loot system. Borderlands 2 gun's just doesn't feel as good and the random drops are not as satisfying. in Borderlands 1 you could actually get legendaries in chests, in borderlands 2 it could take days of monotonous farming. you should return Borderlands 2 and get Borderlands 1 Game of the Year edition with all 4 DLCs for 30$.

Played BL2. Wasn't feelin it. Just returned and left gamestop with the first and all th DLC. Hope it's fun.

I still own BL1 with all the trimmings, thinking about starting a new playthrough!
