kingsivPosted 3/22/2013 8:45:44 AM | I saw that the price had dropped on FC3 recently and thought of canceling my BSI preorder in favor of this (thus saving $30) What think you? |
HatchetHoundPosted 3/22/2013 8:57:01 AM | Stay the course and get Bioshock, and then get this when you have more money. --- "Mistakes are just a part of learning. You don’t become an Expert At Bandit Extermination without accidentally offing a few farmers, for instance." |
usmovers_02Posted 3/22/2013 2:57:35 PM | I think FC3s SP is amazing yet forgettable. I HIGHLY doubt Bioshock: Infinite will be forgettable. I'd get BS:I. --- www.nohomophobes.com |
kingsiv (Topic Creator) Posted 3/22/2013 8:18:16 PM | I just bought FC3 for $29.00 and canceled my BSI preorder. Saved over $60 on both games. Awesome. |
Joe_CobbsPosted 3/23/2013 7:46:26 AM | I would have gone with Bioshock. But its your money, I just hope you didn't get this for the MP. |
whats_a_fanboyPosted 3/24/2013 7:39:06 AM | I think this is a better deal. Even excluding the multiplayer this game is really fun and my only complaint has been fixed with the update that allows you to reset outpost. After you have played this for some time you can get BSi and it may even be on sale. Even if both were $60 I would choose Far Cry, I have been having a blast playing it since it came out and I hardly keep playing single player games after I beat them because there are too many games I still have to get through. The map editor is fun as well. Bio shock looks like a game I will play once and it's only 10 maybe 15 hours or even less I hear and not something I would pop in for some quick fun like FC3. Just my opinion but I am done buying $60 games this year as they almost always drop $20 in the first month or even more. Gotta save for that PS4! |
HELZEROPosted 4/1/2013 4:28:33 PM | This is my favorite of the two, although bioshock is excellent.
I would get this first for cheap, then get bioshock later once the price drops. --- Nintendo Cycle: http://www.vgmemes.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/nintendo-cycle.png |

UCH1H4_G0DPosted 4/1/2013 10:42:34 PM | I actually just had this dilemma as well haha. I decided to rent bioshock via red box (when i saw that far cry was no longer available) and honestly i was pretty disappointed. Didn't enjoy it nearly as much as the previous bioshocks and I knew it wouldn't be worth buying from the start due to its lack of replay-ability being a single player "shooter". Returned it before I could finish the game and went and bought far cry yesterday and I am much more satisfied. --- Do you buy stuff of Karmaloop? Use my rep code SUP3RJAP for 20% off your order :D |

I love far cry because of the open world elements and the awesome gameplay. you should def check out bioshock later though. it has an awesome atmosphere, story and graphics. but yes far cry is still my fave. |
