Far cry 4: would you be mad if it was split gen

And if so why

I'd rather they didn't. I personally think that the games on the 360/ps3 have reached the end of what can be done on those systems. The best leap forward for the series would obviously to leave behind the restrictions of the previous generation. However, if it was split generation, I would not get all bent out of shape. I'd just enjoy what they come up with instead of wondering what else it could have been.

Some say the cup is half empty, some say the cup is half full. I say the cup is twice as big as it needs to be.

Yes. 360 has been maxed out and they should be trying to push it fully, not water it down to be able to work on both generations. They need to get past that "there's 70 million customers" when we know the game won't even sell 10 million on 360.

Just push it on Next Gen and it will make people upgrade to Next Gen.

I totally agree with this.

I think it's too late in the game for cross gen games. Most cross gen games are announced before the new gen launches or shortly after.

As long as the latest gen version didn't suffer for it I wouldn't mind.

One version would suffer no matter what. Developers have limited money and it costs extra to develop for additional platforms, especially cross gen. More than likely both versions would suffer.

Does anyone actually care ? What kind of person plays FPS on consoles ? Stupid kind of person, that's what kind.

The kind that want to play FPSs but don't have a decent rig. Please don't turn this into a PC vs Console flame war. And for the record I do have a gaming rig but still play my MP games on console.

if that's the cae then yes, I would indeed be upset if it were cross gen.
