dye??

i still haven't fully understood the dye in this game... What can i dye? how? etc... need info on the dye in this game.

You combine it with wool to make different colored wool blocks. In later updates you can directly dye sheep, pen them up and use wheat to breed them.

so all i can do is make different color blocks?..... can dye the leather or ANYTHING besides wool..?

Only wool. It can lead to some pretty nifty creations. I once made a ghast floating in the air right after launching a fireball. I used burning netherrack as the fireball.

For the time being, not really. Some of the dyes have alternate uses, though; Lapis Lazulli can make decorative blocks, Bone Meal can make plants grow or spread and in the future Inc Sacs will be used to make writable books.

Note that it's possible to dye the sheep in this version, just can't breed them yet

how u dye sheep? n how do i know i have dye? BTW I FOUND A RANDOM PINK SHEEP TODAY! i hit it when i was doing the railroad achievement

To dye sheep, hold the dye in your hand then find a sheep and press Left trigger.

Different dyes comes from different sources - red and yellow are easy to make from the flowers found on the surface.
