PC or 360? So conflicted.

My girlfriend and I tried the game out at a friends and we're both amazed and addicted. I built both of us gaming PCs last year so we have absolutely no problem running it on PC.

But..... the allure of couch co-op is strong, even though we could both just play on PC. If the Xbox version wasn't an older, less updated version it would be a no-brainer. but...

Opinions? How much better is Minecraft on the PC? Additionally, I have more console friends than PC so I imagine a few of them will get this on Xbox.

Unless money's tight I'd say both. The draw of playing together on the same console + possibly with xbl friends that may not ever on play on PC is worth the price of admission.

The Xbox version is going to be updated eventually to have most of the features of the PC version, just give it time.

Actually, that is a nicer option. Get it for my PC and Xbox. She's very much not a PC gamer so I'm sure she would rather just play Xbox, and I could play with her there.

I got both. 360 version to play with my Xbox Live friends. PC version for the latest build.

It's a small investment. Costs as much, together, as one of the lesser expensive 3DS or Vita games. However the game is worth way more than that.

Doesn't hurt to play both versions with her. Xbox if you just want to be laid back and just play. PC if you want to get more in depth and hardcore. Install some mods, change up the game. I really want to run that tornado mod at some point tbh. Oh, and SmartMoving is godsend. Probably one of my favorite mods. Let's you jump, duck, climb, and slide over various obstacles. Crawl under 1x1 blocks, climb up fences and iron bars, climb up things higher than 1 block, charge jump to jump higher, etc. 1.3 will make Minecraft like the Xbox version in that you can just invite your friend to your game rather than fiddle with setting up a server. Also making mods easier to install and play with.
