I think it's funny when I hear people say things like, "My friends in my world use the dupe glitch and ruin the game." Uh, kick them? Destroy their duped items? Don't play with them? Honestly, the problem isn't duping, it's your friends.
Lists the 1.7 changes. Pistons were the biggest addition, but there were other things in 1.7 as well. Ok, so it also added shears, my point still stands, 1.7 and 1.8 were meant to be one update anyway.
1.7 was supposed to be 1.8, but due to time constraints it was pushed to 1.8. Exactly, so why bring out 1.7 for the 360 version?
The patch fix is going to be here in the next couple of weeks, not necessarily any day now. It will be fixing the dupe glitch at last, the Nether portal glitch, and a few others that were talked about on the stream a couple of days ago.
I ran into this problem too. I'm assuming its the one where your game freezes every time you try and leave the Nether? The only way around this is to put all the items you have in a chest (hopefully you have one on you) in the Nether world and then jump into the lava at the bottom. That will spawn you back on the surface world. After a little while of playing, I was able to go back into the Nether to retrieve my things. But hopefully they will fix that. It was super annoying.
What's the point of patching a glitch that does exactly what one of the modes you'll be introducing does, only a little more convoluted? Also I've had a version of the nether glitch. I was on a buddy's map and when I went into the nether, I got stuck in the purple transfer screen. I could still move and could tell what was going on, how I fixed it was with my headset I could tell where the nether portal was based on the sounds it made and wandered back into it. That cleared things up for me and I could seamlessly enter the nether from that point on.
I uh, don't have any bullets. You gonna give me bullets? Are there bullets up there? Where do I get my gun?
