Where do you find slime?

I see people talking about slime all the time and I havent seen one even once.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay underground.

It is kind of hard to find them, initially. But once you do, you can clear out a large room and have a "slime farm."

Look up that in the search bar and you'll find a bunch of useful topics to look at.
