Need a good seed for a new world?

#1Mules50Posted 7/13/2012 10:50:14 AM
Since the new 1.7.3 update is out today and my old world was getting a little boring, I am going to start a new world.

Hit me up with some good/interesting seeds. Not looking for too much in particular, unless someone has a great seed where most of the world is ocean because I love beach themed houses.

Anyways, thanks in advance!

You don't need a new world for this update. 888 is what I use because flat places.

Has clay, sugar cane, cactus, pumpkins, surface lava, and a little snow. My favorite seed. It has a lot of trees.
I hope this helps.

Did you even read any of my post?

I want to start a new world.

Anyways, I have heard of gargamel and I like it alot, just maybe wanted to try a more obscure one.

I will have to check out the 2.2 one

That's all nice, but you have to constantly worry about awaking the mightiest elder god from its slumber on that seed.

Mostly beaches and cliff overhangs viewing the ocean. My house has a deck that looks out directly at the sunrise, as if its infront of me. There's roling hills for making a town and plenty of ocean for boat adventures.

Has a large slime chunk, has 8 pumpkins so far, sugarcane, cactus, snow biome, and plenty of monster spawners. Infact you spawn by one. And I've got like 8 saddles.

Monster Spawner Co-Ordinates: (a few I haven't wrote down, atleast 3 of them)
X: 53, Y: 60, Z: -392
X: 120, Y: 31, Z: -15
X: 144, Y: 41, Z: -22
Clay Brick locales: (a few I didn't write down as they were too small
X: 228, Y: 67, Z: -236
X: 243, Y: 67, Z: -157
X: 263, Y: 65, Z: 266

Slime Co-Ordinates:
(X: 80, Z: -48) to (X: 112, Z: -64)

Wow. Nice post. Coordinates seem to be the greatest thing they put into this game.

i have a great seed i'll post a bit later. busy right now and can't pull it up. my seed has everything except snow and pine trees. 3 large continents 1 hilly with lots of forests, 1 large desert with any almost umlimited supply of sand for glass. i've found 2 mob spawners so far. a few large mountains at the map edges not many huge ones. some limted surface lava, and shallow oceans. i've really enjoyed it and have spent all my time on this one since release.
