If your looking at it at a distance wood plants is your best choice. Up close itll look like the guys made of wood but if you're making something out aways woods probably the best choice.

Wood planks are kinda good for darker ones...like Mario or Link

I used orange wool for my 8-bit Mario. I know that sounds weird but I think out actually came out quite good.

I'm working on a whole Super Mario gallery that's almost done. 1st game only for now.
