Has anyone actually made a flush 3x3 piston door thats fairly compact? If so can you post how u did it, or even better post a link to a tutorial. Everyone i see involves a upside down half slab.... If not they're massive in size

There you go. Its not as compact as CNB's 3x3 door, which is what I usually use. But seeing as you need one that is flush with the wall, I think this one is your best bet.

Good Luck, hope that tutorial helps.

Ty...but no avail.... That is another one i tried. Most of them require a half slab that's upside down, Like this one. I've been on YouTube for days watching videos just to see that they require that half slab i cant utilize on xbox360... The search continues lol

What, exactly, do you mean by flush? No pistons exposed? The door itself lines up with the wall it's built into?

If that's the latter, I can see why you don't CNB's, though it can be forced to be flush if you build it the right way (as in, inside a cave or something).

Also, I'm assuming the problem with the upside-down half slab comes from a feature that we don't have on the 360?

By flush i mean flush with the wall... The latter. Like a hidden doorway type of deal. I made a 2x2 flush door and wanted to increase the size to a 3x3. Every tutorial i see is done on pc, wich is not a problem until they use blocks that aren't usable in the same manner as the xbox360. Example upside down steps. We xbox players cant place steps upside down but pc players can(maybe another update will come out wich would make us equal to the pc version). Wich brings me to the upside down half slabs, half slabs can be place on the "lower part" of the block and then left with a space above it where i could place anothe half slab and thus create a whole block. What xbox360 cannot do is place that same half slab on the "higher part" of said block and leave under it empty.... Hard to explain.
And to the previous poster i have yet to check that video out.. Am at work ATM..
