So when does TU12 come out? Or has it not been set?

Want to play but HATE HATE HATE(kefka) making new worlds to get content. I haven't played for months. I tried the PC version but with that 32bit executable I get more lag than on my 360 even with a great PC.

Don't hover over this unless curious on my PC specs cause I said lag.
I5 3470 @ 3.2ghz
Sapphire 3gb 7950
8gb RAM 1600mhz
Win 7 64-bit

1) ZOMG FFVI REFERENCE!!! YAY!!!!

2) The date for TU12's release hasn't even been hinted at. It's not even being considered for Microsoft Certification at this point.

3) The problem is because you're using the 32-Bit version of Java. Uninstall it, install the 64-Bit version of Java, and then you can allocate 1Gb of your 8Gb of RAM directly to the client (with the vanilla launcher).

4) If you're playing the "demo" (browser version), it's going to run like crap. I'm on an i7 920 (2.67Ghz Quadcore), with a slightly weaker graphics card than you (and only 6Gb of Corsair DDR3 ram), and I'm able to run the game at 150~300FPS on both the standard, and developer launchers... but the browser version still runs choppy and with much lower than "average" FPS.

5) If you're using the "Cracked" version, I don't know how to help you... it shouldn't be producing ~any~ lag, since it's identical to the current "official" launcher.

6) If you're using the full version (and paid for the game), it's your Java version.

If you're playing the PC version you need optifine...then you can make it run better.

But with those specs you should be able to run it just fine...my PC is 9 years old and it runs it with not too much lag with everything set to minimum and when chunks aren't loading.

Depending on the computer, Optifine doesn't always make the situation better (case in point, I have a laptop that actually runs ~worse~ with Optifine installed, regardless of the version I'm using)... and with the specs TC has disclosed, there's no real need for Optifine on his/her rig... Minecraft should be running just fine... provided the right Java version is installed, as well as the current (and correct!) LWJGL.

I don't think that would help with Single Player "lag", Zack. >_>
