Will we ever get a custom game search?

What's the point of having all these options and customization if it's hard to find enough players to see if it works.

If would be great to have a way to find a game that you want to play in. Players w/ creative gametypes can display them to the community. Allow players to create a game in a category such as TDM. And then post a description of the gametype they are playing.

I would mention forge but idk if it will be in this game. But 343 did work w/ Bungie so I would imagine it will be included.

I've been asking that question since Halo 2. Sadly, modern shooters seem inclined to omit it and focus on matchmaking instead. Why we can't have both (which was Halo 2 Vista's greatest feature) is beyond me.

^they've hinted at adding this in an EGM before Halo 3 came out. Bungie can set up some confusing arena system but won't add a search feature. Go figure.

Plus a lot of gamers like myself are lazy. It takes time and patience to set up a game or find one you can join. Relying on recent players, using bnet or gamefaqs is the only way to try and get people.

You got a game like Halo w/ all this customization, but it's never show cased to its full potential.

With all the new games that come out during Halo's lifetime, it is very difficult to find people that want to play customs. I hope we do get a custom game search.

It'd be much preferred to the random search we have now.

CTF is like my all-time favorite game mode, yet I rarely get to play it because of everyone's love for TDM in matchmaking.

Reach finally added a flagstravaganza playlist. but it also includes stockpile. If i'm incorrect let me know. And stockpile is nothing like CTF.

Sure majority of the community likes TDM. But what if you like CTF or Assualt. If you choose team objective you have a 1 in 7 chance of playing wat u want. A custom game search could help this out.

If they can set up matchmaking like say CoD does it, then I would have to complain about not having a custom game search. There are the cons, but it would b nice to see something new in the online portion of the game.

I really hope they finally add a custom game search in this game but it's very doubtful. We can dream though right?
